Are the courses full time or part time?

Modules are rostered to fit in with students lifestyle, we understand that many students are working Mum's or working a separate job ...where we can, classes are structured to fit in with your busy lifestyle 

Do I have to pay for the course up front?

We require a deposit to secure your place and then agree a payment plan over the term of the course. 

Can I get an exemption for an existing qualification?

Yes, however you must be able to provide the relevant certificate/diploma

What does AIT accreditation mean

AIT accrediatation is recognised by all Salons/Spas and means that you are fully insurable. Course content is bases on on-going assessment and is completed with a mutiple choice paper upon completion. 

Why are there no examinations with AIT

The AIT syllabus encompasses ongoing assessment and case studies. This helps tutors identify individual strengths and weaknesses and target areas that need work. 

Is there a registration fee?

No

Are there any other fees for the Skincare & Facials or Massage course that I should be aware of?

No your course fee is all inclusive and will include handouts. You are not required to purchase any books 

I just want to attend a workshop do I need to be a qualified therapist ?

No, where there is a prerequisite this will be indicated in the course information (e.g. advanced Waxing)

I do not drive is the Academy on a bus route?

The Academy is in Applewood Swords, which is a half hour walk from the centre of Swords, it is also on a number of bus routes.
